The Myanmar Fly Fishing Project started as a fly fishing blog about fly fishing adventures in Myanmar.

But after about 2 years of fly fishing in various locations across Myanmar, both in fresh waters and salt waters, we had to come to an obvious conclusion: the potential for fly fishing tourism in Myanmar is incredible, supported by incredible sceneries and nature, and a wide variety of sport fishes, some famous, some quite new to most recreational anglers…

Something had to be done beyond just sharing photos and videos! And so came the idea of “Myanmar Fly Fishing Project” in the form of a Social Entreprise that aims at “Writing Myanmar on the Global Map of fly fishing destinations…” while contributing “to local development through supporting efforts in livelihoods diversification and environmental conservation.”
